RCDSO Update – Scam Email Alert
The current crisis has provoked new email scams, some of which are targeting dentists. We have been told that a number of members received email about an offer to sell N-95 masks.
Remember – if it seems too good to be true, it is probably false. The RCDSO’s IT team reminds us:
- Be skeptical about unexpected emails. Check the “From” address before clicking on them
- Do not click on links in suspicious emails
- Be wary of attachments (Excel, PDF), especially if they are password protected or compressed.
- If you are suspicious of an email message, do not open – delete!
